Dr. Binita Katheria is a Southern California native, and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from our very own University of Califonia, San DIego. Dr. Binita completed her dental degree at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where she was given ample opportunity to travel abroad on mission trips to help underserved communities. It was during these trips that her passion for pediatric dentistry grew. She completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Master of Science degree in Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. As a board certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Binita’s research has been published in the prestigious Journal of Pediatric Dentistry, and focuses primarily on the effectiveness of cone beam commuted topography when assessing pathology in children. After several years away, Dr. Binita has made her way back to sunny San Diego with her husband and two boys. She is well versed in all children’s cartoons, and in the few spare moments she has between being an amazing pediatric dentist, and a full time mother of two toddler boys, Dr. Binita enjoys running.
